Laguna 19-38 Drum Sander w/Open Stand

Our drum sanders have many unique features, designed and engineered to prevent issues common with our competition. Several of our features have been awarded patents. 38” wide sanding capability in two passes, up to 19” wide in a single pass! Imagine the range of projects you can precisely and consistently process. Sand everything from stock as short as 2-1/4” or as thin as 1/32” and as wide as 38” (in two passes). The 19-38 includes an open-stand with storage shelf. Casters can be added when portability is desired. The sanding drum is wrapped with 80 grit abrasive and the conveyor speed is infinitely adjustable from 0-10’ per minute. A full range of abrasives are available to accomplish everything from abrasive planing to finish sanding.

Features: Easy access abrasive attachment system, makes changing abrasives simple task with no tools required. The patented abrasive attachment system also maintains tension on the abrasive, keeping it snug on the drum and preventing overlap, not like other sanders.

Fast Adjust Lever offers an extremely quick and accurate indexed adjustment for proper alignment when sanding material wider than the drum. Simply loosen two bolts and rotate lever & re-tighten the two bolts. No time-consuming fine tuning or trial-and-error adjustment required.

Abrasive conveyor belt offers the best grip on wood and similar materials. It also allows short and thin stock to be sanded and a higher level of precision as compared to rubber or soft conveyor belts.
